'Sheer' by Doombird

Last year Discovery Park flooded like it hadn't in decades. The strength of nature showed itself all around the mighty man-made creations in our city. The goal was to compliment the ambient production and grand choruses of the song, Sheer, with the bold shapes of industry engulfed in the gentle emotions of Sacramento landscapes. I enhanced certain areas of the footage with an overlaid light/color meter to show a sort of mathematic representation of what nature looks like to a computer and ultimately how a synthesizer relates to the power of music.
