AMBER PADGETT

Ten years in filmmaking combined with an unquenchable passion for traveling, brings works steeped in open arid landscapes and forgotten city corners. The goal is to create videos that exemplify the beauty in subtlety while nudging into surrealism with the use of practical effects such as stop motion animation and time lapse photography.

Though Los Angeles based, Padgett works around the world filming in Spain, England, France, New Zealand, Mexico, Japan, Hawaii and Death Valley. She has directed music videos for artists from the well known to obscure, including Gigi Perez, Tele Novella, Tom Brosseau, Sea of Bees, and has contributed as an animator/fabricator to projects for Beck, Pentatonix, 1975, Khalid, and Imagine Dragons.
